Valuation and valorization require diverse skills and technical expertise, which can vary significantly depending on the project.

To address the unique needs of each of your projects, we assemble a team of experts, each highly specialized in their field.

This team includes legal professionals, engineers with specific technical expertise, financial analysts, and specialists in industrial partnerships and financial valuation.

Projects are managed primarily by Joël Nithardt, an intellectual property expert who has been working in the field of patents and trademarks since 1992. He is also a Certified IP Valuator (see below for details).

Joël NITHARDT

Intangible assets valuator, European and Swiss patent attorney, trademark and design attorney and microtechnology engineer.

Member of the Association for Management and Valuation of Intangibles.

Joël NITHARDT

After earning his degree in microtechnology, Joël Nithardt started his professional career in Berne. He quickly transitioned into intellectual property, a field he has been deeply involved with since 1992. In his work with patents, he handles freedom-to-operate and patentability analyses, drafts, files, and defends patents, and prepares client documentation. He has also organized training sessions on these topics. He later took charge of the company’s trademark department, where he established a patent and trademark search service. Passionate about promoting innovation, he joined a committee for an innovation prize.

In 2002, he became part of the Intellectual Property team at Kudelski Group, a Swiss-origin international organizationan. He also managed the IP portfolios for many of the group's external clients. His expertise covers areas such as digital security, cryptography, electronics, computer science, medical devices, microtechnology, watchmaking, and mechanics. Beyond managing patent applications, he has extensive experience in opposing competitors’ patents and defending the Group’s patents, as well as those of other clients. In 2015, after further training in trademarks and designs, he took over leadership of that department.

In 2018, he founded Omnis-IP SA to oversee all aspects of intellectual property for clients.

To enhance his offerings, he completed a specialized training in the financial valuation of intangible assets in 2023, earning the title of "IP Valuator." Shortly after, he launched SEQUIN-valuation, focusing on providing financial valuation services for companies’ intangible assets.
